An NYC artist with Canadian roots, Marley Armstrong has been described as “hipster Marilyn Monroe”, and a “combination of Judy Garland and Amy Winehouse”. She fell in love with theatre at 11 years old when she was introduced to the Wicked cast album, and made her theatrical debut as “Prickly Pear #2” in the renowned Jungle Book Jr. 

 

In college, Marley worked with nonprofit The Young Americans bringing music workshops and live performances to Japan, the UK, Ireland, and across the United States. She also performed in their beloved annual productions at the La Mirada Theatre in Los Angeles and at the Highlands Dinner Theatre. 

 

Shortly after moving to New York, Marley was cast in Million Dollar Quartet on the Norwegian Getaway, where she had the opportunity to work with some of the original creative team as “Dyanne”. While onboard she also covered the vocalist in Burn the Floor’s fiery latin show, lead acoustic cabaret Broadway Unplugged, and began her own jazz band, The Marley Armstrong Combo. 

 

Marley is the current vocal captain and manager for the NYC Division of the “international pinup darlings” The Satin Dollz. She had the privilege of helping found the NYC division after originally joining the Dollz in Los Angeles in 2020. With the inaugural division, Marley has made national news, opened for Michael Bublé at a billionaire’s birthday party, and entertained troops for NYC’s Fleet Week, among other exciting accomplishments.
